Overview
As malware, cybercrime, and hacking evolves they present a greater threat to private and public educational institutions, which are often underprepared to handle cyber attacks. Further, educational institutions and their computer networks are comprised of a high number of devices with relatively low requirements for security and protection. Application and device vulnerabilities, unsafe network practices (including file/data sharing) and inexperienced staff/students make these large networks prime targets for cyber threats and hackers.
Security Brief
This educational security brief explores the cyber threats facing educational institutions and highlights several ways they can defend themselves, their networks, and their students/staff against cyber attacks.
