Infocyte Expands Distribution to South America with New Brazilian Partner AMT

AMT to bring Infocyte’s endpoint threat hunting solution to Brazilian Enterprises

SAN ANTONIO, TX, USA and SAO PAULO, BRAZIL

Infocyte, a provider of endpoint hunt technology that detects hidden malware and persistent threats, announced today it has signed a partnership agreement with Brazilian based distributor AMT. As a resale partner, AMT will make Infocyte HUNT™ available to enterprises throughout Brazil.

Andre Sergio Ferreira, CEO at AMT, said, “AMT is dedicated to providing customers with the best cybersecurity technologies. Our engineers make a great effort to find solutions that fit each customer’s unique requirements. Our partnership with Infocyte allows us to expand our security solutions portfolio to include threat hunting, offering our enterprise customers the latest in malware and threat detection.”

Infocyte HUNT is designed specifically to detect if malware is present on network endpoints. It scans and detects the post-intrusion activity, active or dormant, of attackers who have successfully evaded an organization’s real-time defenses and established a beachhead within the network. It reduces the breach detection gap - the time that exists between infection and discovery - denying attackers the ability to persist, restoring trust in a network’s health.

“We are excited to expand our footprint to South America through our partnership with AMT,” said Infocyte CEO, Chris Gerritz. “With the Ponemon Institute’s 2016 Cost of a Data Breach Study finding that Brazil is one of the countries most likely to suffer from a data breach, the ability to provide effective threat hunting to Brazilian enterprises presents a significant market opportunity. The Infocyte HUNT platform detects malware hidden in the deepest corners of an enterprise, helping companies detect malware and threats that have bypassed other defenses to ensure swift mitigation.”

For over 14 years AMT has been providing security solutions to large enterprises in Brazil. The company focuses on evaluating and recommending the best security solutions to meet the unique requirements of each customer.
