Infocyte, a provider of hunt technology that eradicates malware and persistent threats, announced today that it has signed a partnership agreement with Nuvias MEA, part of the pan-EMEA solution defined distribution business the Nuvias Group. As a distribution partner, Nuvias MEA will resell and distribute Infocyte HUNT™ throughout the Middle East and Africa allowing Infocyte to expand its international market and reach.

“Nuvias MEA is a trusted leader in providing security solutions to customers and resellers in the Middle East and Africa, and we are excited to work with them to bring Infocyte’s innovative threat hunting solution to the region,” said Infocyte president and COO, Kurt A. Mueffelmann.  “The Middle East’s proactive security posture has increased demand for solutions that hunt malware in an effort to close the breach detection gap.  The partnership allows Nuvias to provide organizations in the region with the confidence that malware and persistent threats have been identified and remediated to prevent and limit damage using Infocyte HUNT.”

Nuvias MEA is a leading solution defined specialist distributor whose aim is to bring to market cutting edge technologies at the forefront of innovation. The distribution agreement will enable Nuvias to work with Infocyte to grow their Middle East and Africa footprint in the rapidly growing malware hunt market. The Infocyte HUNT threat hunting solution will be distributed through Nuvias preferred business partners.

“The Middle East as a region is on the cutting edge of cyber security. We look forward to working with Infocyte to bring a simple, yet disruptive hunt technology to the region,” said Muneeb Anjum, Sales Director, Cybersecurity at Nuvias MEA. “Infocyte HUNT provides an industry leading threat hunting platform to solve the question that should be the top of mind of every organization across the region; knowing if their networks are currently breached with malware or persistent compromises.”
Infocyte HUNT is designed specifically to detect if malware is present on network endpoints. It scans and detects the post-intrusion activity, active or dormant, of attackers who have successfully evaded an organization’s real-time defenses and established a beachhead within the network. It reduces the breach detection gap - the time that exists between infection and discovery - denying attackers the ability to persist, restoring trust in a network’s health.
