Infocyte’s Incident Response Platform Enables Grant Thornton to Speed Delivery of Incident Response and MDR Services Across Complex AWS Cloud Environments.
AUSTIN, TEXAS, JULY 18, 2019 — Infocyte, a pioneer in proactive threat and vulnerability detection and incident response (IR), today announced a strategic partnership with Grant Thornton UK LLP. The partnership enables Grant Thornton to detect and respond to security incidents faster, without requiring additional technical resources such as security analysts and incident responders, across dynamic Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud environments.
“We deployed Infocyte into multiple customer environments and found the speed, ease of use and effectiveness of Infocyte HUNT far exceeds competing solutions in the IR space,” commented Jim Priddin, Head of Incident Response and Cyber Investigations for Grant Thornton UK LLP.
Grant Thornton UK LLP is one of the world’s leading independent assurance, tax and advisory firms, offering comprehensive managed cyber security solutions to its clients. After an extensive evaluation, Grant Thornton UK LLP selected Infocyte’s solution as their platform for incident response. With annual revenues in excess of $1.7 billion, Grant Thornton operates over 700 offices across the globe and provides services within almost every industry.
“We have also deployed Infocyte HUNT’s AWS module during urgent response scenarios and found the API-driven inspection process to be extremely powerful and unique, giving us great visibility and insight without impacting production workloads,” added Priddin.
In addition to using Infocyte as their preferred IR platform, Grant Thornton UK LLP will use Infocyte HUNT as one of their primary MDR platforms, providing cost-effective managed detection and response services and helping customers strengthen their cyber risk profile.
“We are thrilled to partner with Grant Thornton as a leading Incident Response and MDR partner, arming thousands of Grant Thornton’s cyber consultants with Infocyte’s SaaS platform and providing customers around the world with superior IR and MDR capabilities to reduce cyber risk,” said Curtis Hutcheson, Infocyte’s CEO.
Infocyte and Grant Thornton have already planned the implementation of new features and functionality, expanding the partnership and bringing additional detection and response capabilities and added integrations to customers and partners of both organizations.
