Assessing Risk in a Breached World
Co-founder & CEO Chris Gerritz to discuss persistent compromise by global hacking organizations and how to combat them
Infocyte, a provider of cybersecurity hunt technology, announced that CEO and Co-founder Chris Gerritz will be presenting the topic “Assessing Risk in a Breached World” at today’s Information Systems Security Association (ISSA) & InfraGard Joint Meeting in Tampa Bay.
In the talk, Gerritz presents the problem of persistent compromise by global hacking organizations and how to combat them. In particular, Gerritz discusses the shortfalls of today’s network security risk assessments, which typically focus on compliance and vulnerabilities, and presents education on the latest malware “hunt” practices and compromise assessment services which can be used to answer more critical questions such as “Are you hacked right now?” The popular presentation has been delivered at a string of speaking events to regional conferences throughout the country, including most recently the Risk Management Association of Texas annual conference in Dallas, Texas.
The Tampa Bay ISSA chapter hosts meetings and special events each year designed for members to network and learn about a wide range of information security related issues – and solutions. Keynote speakers and experts who are leaders in the field consistently deliver content that is both meaningful and engaging to the membership at large.
